Firstly, the name of Chiku-Chiku Bon-Bon comes from the first letter of the town's name, which is Chiku and from the French word “Bon” meaning good, and as a shortcut Chiku-Chiku Bon-Bon is often referred as Chiku-bon.

One reason to come to Chiku-bon is to enjoy a family trip with children. Chiku-bon is an accommodation facility that was made by renovating a local elementary school in Japan, and there are some elementary school classrooms still left on the 2nd floor (Multipurpose room) and there is a Kid’s room that has many wood toys, too.

Another reason to come to Chiku-bon is able to use it as an accommodation facility for large groups of people during tourism in Fukui Prefecture. The merit for this is that the staying prices are relatively cheap, with a cost of around 5,000 yen per night per person and the guests can enjoy the nice view of Japanese nature which is surrounding the accommodation.
